Kol Tzedek Synagogue

Kol Tzedek, which translates into English as “Voice of Justice”, was formed by Rabbi Lauren Grabelle Herrmann and a dedicated group of volunteers who are determined to support active Jewish life in West Philadelphia.

The synagogue meets at CCCC and offers a full program of activities, including religious services, cultural events, and adult Education classes. The synagogue also has a weekly religious education program for children, the Kol Tzedek Torah school.

Our Mission:

Kol Tzedek, a Reconstructionist Synagogue in West Philadelphia, builds a diverse and inclusive community through prayer, education, spirituality, and Jewish activism within and beyond our local neighborhood.

Calvary Center for Culture and Community

The Calvary Center for Culture and Community (CCCC) is part of the active community housed in the Calvary Building. Please help keep the doors open to all members of the community, and to continue supporting the many social and cultural programs taking place here. Learn how you can support West Philadelphia's beacon of hope and continue to bring community members together for another hundred years.
